Inspired by this little post here, I’d like to add a few of my own with a fanfiction twist, since I’ve been going totally crazy with fanfiction as of late.

You know you’re a fanfiction writer if…

Your friend tells you a heartbreaking story, and your first reaction is to insert a character from your favourite series into it.

You are writing scenes in your head corresponding to scenes from a manga or anime episode.

You try to make pairings out of everything, even in real life.  And you want to write about it.  “Oh, Liz from accounting and Bob from marketing would make an awesome couple!’

You refer to couples that you know in real life using fanfiction conventions.  (ie. instead of Bob and Linda, you refer to them as BobxLinda, Bob/Linda, BobLin, etc.)

You have ideas for fanfics involving characters from your OWN original fiction.

You are convinced that by writing a fic, it will eventually become canon.

You are often angry at the original writer for not having the plot done your way.

And last but not least…

You haven’t updated your blog in a month because you are too engrossed in your current crack pairing project.

Sigh.  Sorry guys, haha.
